Recalling Storylines & Creating Props

What a wonderful learning experience using recycled boxes, craft materials, and a stick to recreate the broom from the story! Extending on stories is a great way to support emergent literacy and language development. Children can be involved in creating the props and using these props during your reading sessions together or in their imaginative play by recalling the story.
